Smart Alarm ("the App") is developed by Nitesh Yadav. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Smart Alarm handles user data.

Smart Alarm collects minimal data to support app features (Cloud Sync) and display advertisements.

A. Personal Data (Optional)

  • Feedback: If you submit feedback through the app, we store your provided Name, Email, Message, and Rating in our secure database (Firebase) to improve the app.
  • Alarm Data: For cloud synchronization features, your alarm settings (time, label, puzzle type) may be stored in our secure database.

B. Advertising Data

  • AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements (Banner, Interstitial, Rewarded). AdMob may collect:
    • Device ID / Advertising ID (to serve relevant or non-personalized ads)
    • Usage Data (ad impressions, clicks)
    • Crash Reports and Performance Data

2. Permissions Used

Smart Alarm uses the following Android permissions for functionality:

  • Internet — Required for Cloud Sync features and displaying Ads.
  • Schedule Exact Alarm & Post Notifications — Essential for the alarm to function.
  • Vibration — Used for alarm ringing and game feedback.
  • Sensors (Accelerometer) — Used for the "Shake to Key" puzzle functionalities.
  • Read External Storage — Used to allow you to select custom music files for your alarm sound.
  • Wake Lock — Ensures the alarm rings even when the device is asleep.

  • To function (set alarms, ring on time).
  • To sync your data across devices (if logged in).
  • To improve the app (via feedback).

Smart Alarm is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We use industry-standard security measures (Firebase Security Rules) to protect your stored data.
